Note: This piece is part of a series I did - Still Standing: The Resiliency of Humans and Nature. The idea of this series came about with the passing of Hurricane Dorian through Savannah and now comes to light in a time where resiliency is needed more than ever. Each piece conveys the strength that humans and nature possess to overcome great obstacles while maintaining hope and optimism. Each piece is created using oil and cold wax on wooden cradle boards.
